Fifth Click originaly started out as a group of guys that got together on the weekends to have a few beers and jam. This lasted a couple years until it was decided that the band get more serious and play out for people to see how it goes. The band played their first gig at a Halloween party at the Old Tractor Saloon in 2008. It went so well, that the band has played a few more since then and plans on playing many more in the future.

The name Fifth Click is derived from a game of Russian Roulette. The sounds (clicks) just before the gun goes off. It better be your turn when you hear the 5th click (and it's a five member band). The fans are called "sixers" also referring to a game of Russian Roulette. They are the ones who didn't make it in the game as there is no sixth click in the game... (or in the band).
